Man Utd should recruit two strikers, says Alan Shearer

Alan Shearer, a legend at Newcastle United, has pleaded with Manchester United to finalize the deals of Matheus Cunha of Wolves and Liam Delap of Ipswich Town.

Manchester United has been rumoured to be interested in signing both strikers this summer. Manchester United are looking to add to head coach Ruben Amorim’s roster when the season comes to a close.

United have struggled so far this season in the Premier League. Their current Premier League standing puts them in the middle of the pack.

According to Shearer, Matheus Cunha’s transfer rumors have been circulating, although he would not help Manchester United’s cause.

United also need six or seven more players, according to Betfair. If it’s going to happen, he’s simply another player; still, I comprehend and accept it.

He won’t solve United’s problems, but he’s a great addition nonetheless. Others have connected them to Liam Delap as well. Which one, though? Both require their signature.

A world-class center striker like Delap is essential, but they also need a player like Cunha. “They need reinforcement all over the pitch, including on defense,” he added.
