Salisu Yusuf, the technical adviser for Nasarawa United, has said that the team’s 1-0 victory over Heartland was a morale boost.
In Sunday’s match at the Pantami Stadium, Nasarawa United secured all three points with a goal from Anas Yusuf, as they defeated Heartland, a team in danger of relegation. Salisu promised that his squad will not give up on chasing the remaining points in the season.
A post-match interview with Salisu revealed that the team’s morale had been much boosted by the victory, and that they were proud of the effort put out by each player.
“With only three games left in the League, we are determined to win each one and earn as many points as we can. Nasarawa United have 46 points and are currently in the thirteenth spot.
