After beating Lobi Stars on Matchday 36, Nasarawa United’s players were given a check for N2.5 million.
The team received the donation from Abdullahi Sule, the governor of the state, and Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe, the deputy governor.
On Wednesday, the Solid Miners won a match against Lobi Stars by a score of 2-1 in Enugu’s Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium. The victory propelled Nasarawa United to the eleventh spot in the league.
After 36 games this year, the Solid Miners have accumulated 49 points.
The next league match for Nasarawa United is this Sunday against Enyimba.
