The NCAA has formally requested the IGP to take action against K1 De Ultimate

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has filed an official petition with both the Attorney-General of the Federation and the Inspector-General of Police, urging them to investigate and prosecute the renowned Fuji artist King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, regarding an incident involving a ValueJet aircraft.

On Tuesday, KWAM 1 tried to prevent the plane from taxiing after he was removed from the flight for allegedly having a flask of alcohol with him.

His actions have been widely criticized as a violation of standard operational procedures and a blatant disregard for aviation safety regulations.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the NCAA called on the Attorney-General and the IGP to “conduct a comprehensive investigation into the incident.”

They also urged both offices to pursue “appropriate legal action in line with the Nigeria Civil Aviation Regulations 2023 and all other relevant laws.”

Furthermore, the Director General of Civil Aviation, Capt. Chris Najomo, has advised the Airline Operators of Nigeria to place K1 De Ultimate on a No-Fly List until the investigations are fully completed.
