President Bola Tinubu’s actions in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) throughout the past two years have been characterised by Minister Nyesom Wike as unprecedented.
According to Wike, Abuja is currently “working” under Tinubu’s direction. After checking over several active projects, he made the announcement Thursday in Abuja.
According to Wike, Nigerians have already begun calling for Tinubu to be granted another chance to serve after the noticeable performance.
You will witness the country’s future in the next two to four years, thanks to Tinubu’s exceptional accomplishments in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
All of us who have been critical have admitted that Abuja is now functioning, despite our earlier claims to the contrary. Yesterday I stated the obvious. So, who’s here in the office today? “Mr. President,” he announced.
Aiming to make Abuja a capital city of which Nigerians can be proud, the minister declared his intention to devote himself fully to the task Tinubu had assigned him.
Wike explained the decision to conduct the inspections by saying it was necessary to verify that the contractors would fulfil their obligations.
He was especially pleased with the fact that the Apo to Wassa Junction Road was delivered in one piece and was said to be 100% finished.
He further mentioned that the contractor has already submitted a plan to install lamps along the Apo-Wassa route, which will enhance security in the area.
We also visited the N20 Interchange to link Wole Soyinka Way to the soon-to-be-opened Murtala Mohammed Motorway, more often referred to as the Kubwa Motorway.
We also checked the soon-to-be-finished and inaugurated road connecting the Obafemi Awolowo Way with the Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal in Dakibiyu District.
I can promise you that the contractors are trying their utmost to provide the best for the inhabitants of Abuja, as I have always stated. “Nothing less will do from my end,” he declared.
The minister emphasised that Tinubu had emphasised that Nigeria was deserving of nothing less than the best, promising to do all in their power to ensure that they received nothing less.
Roads provide a visual representation of the infrastructure. We will keep doing that, even though it’s unfathomable.
On the other hand, he urged FCT citizens to do their part and back the government in order to protect Abuja and all of Nigeria.
