Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), stated that Nigerians should not expect President Bola Tinubu to wear “khaki to fight” the country’s insecurity.
Pastor Adeboye believes Tinubu should just provide guidance on how to cope with Nigeria’s insecurity.
He spoke at the US-Nigeria faith heroes award event in Washington, organised by the Save Nigeria Group, and attacked Tinubu for insecurity.
Adeboye: “I want to be clear: I disagree with those who claim the president is not doing enough.
“When the leader at the top issues orders to his team, he has accomplished his responsibility. You wouldn’t expect him to fight while wearing khakis.
“When my pal Trump encourages people to bomb anything, he does not stay away from the White House. He says, “I hereby command, bomb Iran,” and then retires to his bedroom to sleep.
Adeboye stated that despite the fact that terrorism is becoming more prevalent in his neighbourhood, he remains committed to his position.
