Nigerian afrobeats artist, David Adeleke, also recognised as Davido, has delivered a serious admonition to President Bola Tinubu, stating that he would engage United States President Donald Trump should any issues arise in the next Osun state gubernatorial election.
Davido delivered the caution during a live broadcast with comedian Carter Efe.
He underscored the significance of a transparent, equitable, and trustworthy election, asserting that he would not be mute if the electoral integrity was jeopardised.
Davido stated, “I will engage Trump should any issues arise in the Osun election.”
The afrobeats icon additionally asserted that he would attract global scrutiny to any purported discrepancies.
His admonition was issued prior to the governorship race on August 15, in which his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, is vying for a second term.
DAILY POST has learned that Davido has been vigorously advocating for the governor and has consistently implored officials to guarantee a transparent voting procedure.
