Farouq Aliyu, a leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has blamed the party’s defeat in the Osun State governorship race on internal differences among its members.
Aliyu claimed that some APC members were dissatisfied with the party’s candidate and refused to support his campaign, which contributed to the party’s defeat at the polls.
On Monday’s Arise Television Morning Show, Aliyu stated that the party tried everything in its power to win the election, but that internal disagreements had an impact on its result.
