The Rainbow Coalition’s Reconciliation Committee has guaranteed members of the political family that they will not face victimisation or discrimination as a result of past political differences.
This comes as attempts continue to restore peace and harmony in Rivers State’s political landscape.
The committee made the pledge on Sunday after meeting with Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara at the Government House in Port Harcourt for the second time in approximately two weeks.
It said that all members, regardless of earlier political disputes, would be treated equally and with respect as part of the ongoing reconciliation process.
