Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has stated that all presidential candidates in the 2027 general elections must be willing to explain their qualifications, history, and vision under open examination.
Obi stated this on Friday during a world press conference in his home.
While emphasising the importance of empathy, the former Anambra Governor offered to visit communities affected by insecurity and flooding to hear their concerns.
He stated that his primary goal was to re-establish Nigeria through national unity, increase security, and shift the economy from consumption to production.
“Every candidate must be willing to defend their credentials, track record, and vision under open examination.
