ICPC begins inspection of N2.06 billion constituency projects in Bauchi

As part of efforts to prevent public monies from being misused, the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has begun an inspection of constituency projects worth more than N2.06 billion in Bauchi State.

The commission stated that 29 projects, totalling N2,062,155,613.98, are being reviewed as part of the Constituency Projects Tracking Group activity.

The surveillance exercise, which began on August 17, 2026, includes officials from the ICPC headquarters in Abuja and its Bauchi branch.

The team is tasked to determine if initiatives funded by constituency allocations are being implemented as specified and whether the sums issued match to the work completed at the various sites.
