A man allegedly strangles his wife to death in Delta before fleeing the area.
A man known only as Favour is accused of murdering his wife, Blessing Oghwoghwo, a mother of two young boys, and fleeing the crime scene in Delta State’s Okirigbagha district.
According to reports, the fleeing suspect sought his deceased wife, who sells groceries for money, but she refused, resulting in a fight between them.
The man reportedly assaulted and strangled his wife till she died. When he discovered she had died and that his neighbours were looking for him, he fled the scene, leaving behind their two young sons, ages 5 and 3.
