The man known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), Martins Vincent Otse, was apprehended in Abuja by the Nigerian Police Force.
Denise Adeyanju, his lawyer, verified the arrest on Friday through his X account. A bank in Abuja, Nigeria, was the site of the arrest.
Written by Adeyanju. “NEWS FLASH: Police apprehend VDM at GTB. Had a conversation with them before to his arrest. This in no way meets acceptable standards. It is not illegal to demand responsibility.
He said, “A team of policemen arrested VDM at GTB” in a subsequent message. He and his friend C Park were both detained, but they chose to leave his mom alone. At the time of writing, details on the incident are vague, but that should change soon.
The arrest has not been officially announced by the police. If you remember, VDM was arrested in November 2024 after accepting the police’s invitation.
