The availability of Paul Onuachu for Sunday’s match against Leicester City has been confirmed by Southampton interim head coach Simon Rusk.
Last weekend, Onuachu was unable to play for Southampton because of an injury. Fulham and Southampton met at St. Mary’s Stadium. The towering striker, though, has been cleared to play against the Foxes at King Power Stadium after returning to training this week.
We’re doing fine. To the club’s official website, Rusk reported that Paul had been training for the past few days and was “back in the mix,” which was good news.
“Thus far, our training numbers have been strong across the board, so we can declare victory for the time being.” This season, the 30-year-old has seen action in 23 league games for the South Coast club, scoring four goals. The Sky Bet Championship is now home to both Leicester City and Southampton.
