Umar Jibrilla Bindow, the former governor of Adamawa State, met with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja following his departure from the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The encounter was said to have taken place late Monday nite, but no specifics about the visit have been released.
Bindow resigned his ADC membership on August 1, 2026.
The former governor, who served as governor of Adamawa State from 2015 to 2019, announced his resignation in a letter dated July 15, 2026.
