Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State stated on Tuesday that former Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola is jealous of him and his family.
Adeleke alleged that Oyinlola has never supported his political ambitions owing to jealously.
Speaking during a Town Hall meeting in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State, the governor referred to Oyinlola as a paperweight politician.
He stated, “Governor Oyinlola is so jealous of me and the Adeleke family that he contested with my late brother. In fact, the first governor of Osun State persuaded him to enter politics after retiring from the military.
He has never supported the Adeleke family, but we will always support him.
“It’s wonderful that he didn’t support me.
