Paul Merson, a legend at Arsenal, has changed his mind about who he thinks will win the UEFA Champions League, UCL, semi-finals, and final.
Next week, In the Champions League semi-final second leg match, PSG will go to Paris to take on Arsenal, while Inter Milan will play host to Barcelona at San Siro.
While Inter and Barça fought to a 3-3 tie, the French Ligue 1 club beat Arsenal 1-0 in the first leg of the semi-finals earlier this week.
But Merson had already picked Arsenal to go all the way to the Champions League final and take home the trophy before the first leg of the semi-finals even started.
Nevertheless, Merson has predicted that both PSG and Inter Milan would advance to this month’s Champions League final after observing the first legs of the respective semi-finals. Still, he’s betting that the Serie A club will take home the trophy this season.
After losing 1-0 at home to PSG, Merson told Sportskeeda that Arsenal will have a lot of work to do in the return match. Now is the time for them to get on the board quickly at Parc des Princes.
