After President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s first phone conversation with Pope Leo XIV on Monday, he extended an invitation for the pope to visit Ukraine.
Posting on his official X handle following what he characterized as a “warm and genuinely substantive conversation” with the newly installed pope,
All faiths and all of our people would find true hope in such a visit, according to Zelenskyy. No word from the Vatican on the invitation yet.
According to Naijatrial, Zelenskyy is anticipated to be present at Sunday’s mass in the Vatican for the inauguration of the next pope.
Remember that since February 2022, when Russia launched its full-scale invasion, Ukraine has been trying to oppose them.
