Munirudeen Raji, the Special Adviser on Politics to Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, has come clean about the fact that Governor Adeleke’s camp will fully support President Bola Tinubu’s bid for a second term in office.
On Monday in Osogbo, Raji—a state leader for the Accord Party—made this discovery during an appearance on the news program Lero Temi.
Raji gave President Bola Tinubu his word that he will be re-elected in 2027 despite the fact that the Adeleke political machine thwarted Tinubu’s bid for the presidency in 2023.
“President Bola Tinubu is ours,” he declared. I went so far as to say in a recent forum that we will make sure to include President Bola Tinubu anytime we print posters for Governor Adeleke’s campaign, so the people knows we are also campaigning for him, when the electioneering campaigns begin.
Our candidates for governor and president are Bola Tinubu and Governor Ademola Adeleke, respectively.
In the presidential election of 2027, I promise you that Bola Tinubu will be the winner. Despite our previous vote against him in 2023, we are now declaring our intention to vote for him in the upcoming presidential election, and we expect him to win.
While Raji maintained that Governor Adeleke and all of his appointees are Accord members, he did concede that the people’s elected representatives remain PDP members.
Claiming that charges were the work of disgruntled members of opposing political parties, he insisted that the state’s Accord Party was united.
Osun Accord does not contain any factions. The opposition is merely causing trouble, and INEC has reiterated that Accord is not divided.
With this information in hand, we can confidently predict that Governor Adeleke will be re-elected on August 8.
The people will choose Governor Ademola Adeleke on August 8th, and he will win easily. Whoever was trying to fool the people of Osun is now in the dark.
Adeleke was declared the winner in 2018, but he was disqualified due to an unofficial count.
This time around, Governor Adeleke came out on top in the 2022 election. They said all he could do was dance, yet it was his dancing that helped Osun reap the benefits of democracy.
