Kaduna law enforcement eliminates abductors

The Kaduna State Police Command announced on Tuesday that it has eliminated infamous kidnappers, apprehended 16 alleged kidnappers and three suspected arms traffickers, and seized 190 stolen solar inverters worth N69 million following a series of operations conducted throughout the state over the past fortnight.

The operation additionally seized 10 lithium batteries valued at around N9 million, 10 firearms of various calibres, 170 counterfeit US dollar bills, 83 packages of illicit drugs, 32 stolen mobile devices, two plasma televisions, a purloined Toyota Sienna, and over 400 stolen cattle during the specified timeframe.

During a press conference at the Command Headquarters in Kaduna, the state Commissioner of Police, Rabiu Muhammad, stated that the operations highlighted the command’s determination to dismantle criminal organisations jeopardising the state’s peace and security.

Muhammad stated, “During the two-week period under examination, the Kaduna State Police Command eliminated infamous kidnappers, apprehended 16 alleged kidnappers, six individuals discovered with 170 counterfeit dollar bills, three suspected arms traffickers, seized 10 firearms of various calibres, recovered 190 solar inverters valued at N69 million, one stolen vehicle, 83 packages of narcotics, 32 stolen mobile phones, two plasma televisions, and 410 cattle throughout multiple operations.”
