Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has intimated that he intends to assemble the “largest rainbow coalition” to back President Bola Tinubu’s re-election attempt in 2027.
Wike made the comment while speaking with journalists in Abuja on Friday regarding the visit of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke to his home on Thursday.
The FCT minister stated that Adeleke had now joined the ruling All Progressives Congress, or APC, and that the opposition would be unable to prevent Tinubu’s re-election.
According to Wike, the 2027 election is already a “walkover,” and the opposition parties have little to do.
