According to Naijatrial, Victor Boniface is back in training with the Bundesliga team, Werder Bremen.
He joined Bremen on a season-long loan from Bayer Leverkusen on the last day of the transfer window.
The 24-year-old appeared to be in high spirits as he practiced with his new teammates for the first time.
However, the striker will need to wait until the international break concludes before he can make his debut for Bremen.
Boniface was not selected by Nigeria for their upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa.
The former Union Saint-Gilloise player was initially included in the provisional squad of 31 players.
