Umar Tanko Yakasai, a leader of the All Progressive Congress, has asked President Bola Tinubu’s appointees to carry Nigerians with them while they carry out their duties.
He made the announcement over an Iftar gathering in Abuja on Monday.
He believes that the current government’s appointees should do their best to be a shining beacon for Nigerians.
Yakasai also urged Nigerians to rally behind the current administration and reject all sorts of tribalism and religious bias.
“A few of us who were appointed should do everything humanly possible to bring as many members of the support groups as they can along in order to distribute patronage and support one another, as well as the president’s efforts to reward party faithfuls,” Yakasai, who also served as the Director General of Tinubu Support Group, TSG, said.
This comes after Tinubu swore in Taiwo Oyedele as Minister of State for Finance.
