The idea that Spyro, whose real name is Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, suffered a career setback after working with Davido and Mayorkun has been disputed by the Nigerian musician.
The artist, who in 2018 worked on a remix of his song “Funke” with Davido and Mayorkun, was said to have told Hip TV that he thought the partnership would boost his career, but he ended up facing an unanticipated obstacle despite the song’s early success.
Some were angry because Spyro seemed to be blaming the 30BG boss for Davido’s problems, and they took it out on Spyro.
“My career experienced a setback after I featured Davido and Mayourkun – Spyro.” that was the text on the images of Spyro and Davido released by the site with the X account @Naija PR.
In response, Spyro said, “This is false!!!” and brushed off the message. Please remove this immediately or face the repercussions; I never said anything along these lines. You have 24 hours to do it.
