The Ebonyi State Independent Electoral Commission, EBSIEC, has dismissed the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) objection against the August 22 local government elections in the state, claiming that the party was given an adequate opportunity to participate in the electoral process.
The commission also rejected the PDP’s alleged threat to seek legal redress, stating that the election was carried out in accordance with the applicable constitutional and statutory rules.
