Millions of naira in goods and household items were damaged as a fire demolished six shops in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
According to the fire broke out early Monday morning on Oyinkansola Hameed Street in Ibadan’s Monatan neighbourhood.
It was discovered that six out of 34 shops were damaged, although no injuries were reported.
Maroof Akinwande, Chairman of the Oyo State Fire Service, confirmed the occurrence in a statement made Monday.
