Inter Milan manager Simone Inzaghi formally resigned on Tuesday. This occurs just days after they suffered a crushing 5-0 loss in the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain. Inzaghi informed supporters in a letter that he was leaving the club after four years of giving his all.
The Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal is reportedly in the market for him presently. Reportedly, Inzaghi was offered more than €20 million every season by Al Hilal.
Inter won Serie A under Inzaghi’s leadership last season, and he was also in command when Manchester City defeated the Nerazzurri in the 2023 Champions League final. At this point in time, it is still unknown who will manage Inter for the June 14–15 Club World Cup in the USA. One day before Al Hilal’s match against Real Madrid, on June 17, the Nerazzuri will play Monterrey.
