Victor Boniface, a striker for Werder Bremen, has spoken out about his wage advance practices while playing in Norway.
Boniface clarified that he is required to return to Nigeria annually in December, which is why he takes out a pay advance.
According to the Super Eagles forward, who was speaking with a group of friends in a video, the club then takes the money.
“While I was in Norway, I put money aside so that I could go to Nigeria in December,” he explained. Plus, I normally collect two months in advance when I’m short on funds in December.
“They will progressively deduct the funds later on because I have to return to Nigeria in December.”
