Jurgen Klopp, the former manager of Liverpool, has denied rumours that he could take over as head coach of AS Roma.
The German is reportedly going to be named manager of the Serie A club this summer. The reports are “bullshit,” Klopp has since explained.
I will not be taking over as head coach of AS Roma. “That story is a complete fabrication,” Klopp remarked, as cited by Fabrizio Romano.
There has been absolutely no truth to the claims that I will be accepting a coaching position in the near future. You can take the lead in saying it,” the 57-year-old explained.
While this is happening, Klopp is not in charge of any football clubs. After leading Liverpool to a Premier League third-place finish in 2024, he departed the club. Before this, Klopp was the manager of Mainz 05 and Borussia Dortmund.
