Comrade Uthman M. Jibo, the Kebbi State Government’s Special Assistant on New Media, has resigned and announced his decision to join the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Jibo resigned from his government job on September 1, 2026, with immediate effect.
Jibo stated in his resignation letter to the Secretary to the State Government that the decision was made after “deep reflection and a careful assessment of the current realities,” and that personal concerns also influenced his choice.
