Life was superior for Nigerians during Buhari’s administration compared to the present – Rotimi Amaechi

Rotimi Amaechi, the former Minister of Transportation, contended that Nigerians experienced superior conditions during the tenure of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari compared to the present administration.

Amaechi stated that living conditions under the current administration had dramatically deteriorated for Nigerians, in contrast to the Buhari administration.

He delivered the statements at the current electoral reform demonstration occurring at the National Assembly in Abuja.

The protest, titled “Occupy the National Assembly,” drew a significant assembly of Nigerian youngsters who convened to articulate their apprehensions regarding perceived risks to electoral integrity and democratic accountability.

Amaechi enquired, “Is life more manageable now compared to my time in the APC?” Current conditions are inferior to those experienced during the tenure of former President Buhari. Although we intended to eliminate the subsidy.

Amaechi’s involvement in the demonstration was motivated by calls for the immediate electronic transmission of election results, a matter that has incited considerable popular outrage after the Senate’s rejection of the proposal during the current electoral reform initiatives.
