“No one holds a monopoly on madness,” Shehu Sani responds to the visa ban on the US by Mali and Burkina Faso

Former Kaduna Central senator, Shehu Sani, has praised the visa ban and restrictions placed on the United States by the governments of Mali and Burkina Faso.

In a message shared on his verified X account on Friday, Sani remarked that no one can claim exclusive rights to madness.

Naijatrial reminds us that both the Republic of Mali and Burkina Faso have declared travel limitations for American citizens.

In his response, Sani stated, “The bold move by the governments of Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger to counter Mr. Trump’s visa ban and restrictions is a significant moment for Africa.

“No one has a monopoly on madness. Regardless of how much a black man may attempt to reject and belittle his own country, and bow to imperialism, he will never be accepted or cherished by the ideologically extreme right.”
