Prince Chibudom Nwuche, a former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, has praised Minister Barr. Nyesom Wike for the FCT’s advanced infrastructure development.
He said that Abuja was “coming back to life” under the present government and lauded the FCT Minister for the rapid improvement of the city’s infrastructure.
On Saturday, following a tour of various finished and ongoing projects in Gwagwalada, Kwali, and the adjacent areas, he made this statement. Nwuche was really impressed by the amount and quality of work that has been accomplished in less than two years.
“In less than two years, the amount of work going on is just incredible,” he exclaimed. I can’t believe Abuja is transforming into something new. Developments encompass both urban and rural areas, and the city is transforming into a world-class destination,” Nwuche said.
He took great pride in the amount of work that had been accomplished, especially the transformation of farmlands in Kwali. He pointed out that there was plenty of water and fertile soil there, which he said were ideal for the FCT’s new role in guaranteeing food security.
There were enormous stretches of agriculture, pools of water, and even coal deposits at Kwali. According to Nwuche, Abuja has genuinely revived.
He lauded Wike for his direct leadership style and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for providing the minister with the entire backing necessary to carry out such significant projects.

The ex-lawmaker made the observation that, had the current rate of progress persisted since the return to democracy in 1999, Abuja may have been in a completely different position compared to previous administrations.
