Oluwole Oluyede, the governorship candidate of the Ekiti State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, claims that the state’s All Progressives Congress, APC, held the worst primary election in democratic history.
Oluyede made the comment on Saturday during an interview on Arise Television,
“The APC held poor primaries, and the party is ripped apart. They assumed the PDP was dead in the state, but we have demonstrated that we remain and are a coherent force.
“And keeping in mind that the only government in Ekiti that has ever been able to perform in any shape or form is the PDP, and if we look at the performance of prior governments, this present one is unquestionably the worst.
“People are tired of an inept and inactive government that hasn’t really done anything for its people, and I’m sure that even if there is no alternative to Governor Oyebanji will still have lost election to himself,” he stated.
