Former presidential adviser Reuben Abati has called African Democratic Congress, ADC, presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar’s criticism of President Bola Tinubu’s three-week vacation in Europe as ‘very embarrassing’.
Speaking on Arise Television’s ‘Morning Show’ on Monday, Abati said the Atiku camp was bringing humiliating concerns that had not been well studied.
His remark was prompted by concerns about Tinubu’s decision to take a three-week working vacation outside of Nigeria.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Atiku lambasted Tinubu’s absence from the country during a period of widespread hardship, calling it as a troubling vacuum of political leadership.
