Reasons why Uba Sani’s Kaduna state will back Tinubu’s re-election

The benefits of democracy that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has brought to Kaduna State and the nation as a whole have convinced Governor Uba Sani that his state will vote to re-elect him.

At a stakeholders’ engagement on the ongoing e-registration of APC members across the country on Sunday, the governor enumerated projects that the federal government had implemented and attracted to Kaduna State.

With the APC being the state’s main party, Governor Uba Sani told Zone 2 stakeholders that the current exercise in Kaduna State is aiming for 2.5 million members.

According to the governor, many opposition members have defected to the APC because of his concept of inclusive development, which involves spreading projects across the state, and President Tinubu’s initiatives in Kaduna State.

The Kaduna State Light Rail project, which Governor Uba Sani said was unparalleled in northern Nigeria, has reportedly received N1 billion in funding from the president.

Apart from Lagos State, he claimed, no other subnational in Nigeria has received such backing for the Light Rail Project’s implementation.

President Bola Tinubu has also determined that Kaduna State will be the pilot state to embark on a huge poultry project; I was in China just three weeks ago with the Director General of the Nigeria-China Strategic Partnership at his behest.

There will be a minimum of 350,000 new employment created by the initiative. Groundbreaking will take place in the next three weeks, and the largest poultry project in South-Saharan Africa would be located in Kaduna State. The federal government has already allocated $200 million for the project, he noted.

Additionally, 10,000 small businesses, both directly and indirectly, including those in the poultry industry, would receive support from the project, according to the governor.

“Once again, we would like to express our gratitude to our esteemed leader, President Bola Tinubu, for his approval of the highly crucial Mando to Birnin Gwari road construction and the re-construction of the Kwoi to Jama’a road,” he continued.

In addition, Governor Uba Sani mentioned that the current budget for Zone 1 has approved numerous projects in collaboration between the Kaduna State Government and the office of the Right Honourable Speaker, Tajuddeen Abbas.

According to him, having House Speaker Abbas has been a boon for Zone 1, which is the northern senatorial district of Kaduna State. He went on to say that no zone in the state had profited more than Zone 1.

Malam Balarabe Abbas Lawal has done an excellent job helping Kaduna State in general, and the Governor stated that Zone 1 is fortunate to have her as their Minister of Environment.

He has been instrumental in the success of ACRESal’s large-scale initiatives to combat erosion and other climate-related problems.

The Minister of Environment, Mallam Balarabe Abbas, has been instrumental in getting us to this point, and in the next month or two we will be breaking ground on a massive project between Zaria and Rigasa that will cost almost N53 billion.

In addition, he mentioned that his state has been fortunate to have individuals working for the federal government who have successfully secured significant projects for their state.

Kaduna State would be a frontrunner in the e-registration operation, according to Governor Uba Sani, because of what the state has done for its citizens and because President Tinubu has brought projects to the subnational.

Members of the APC from the Chikun, Kajuru, Igabi, Birnin Gwari, and Giwa local government areas as well as Kaduna North and Kaduna South had earlier participated in similar engagements with the governor on Saturday.

Zone 1, comprising the local governments of Zaria, Sabon Gari, Soba, Makarfi, Kubau, Kudan, Ikara, and Lere, was also the site of a meeting between the governor and senior government officials and stakeholders on Sunday.

Similarly, he communicated with individuals and organisations from Zangon Kataf, Kachai, Jaba, and JemaĆ”. Sunday in zone 3, which is the southern senatorial district of Kaduna, the towns of Kaura, Kagarko, and Sanga.
