Shettima: Tinubu Must Have the Support of Nigerians

In order for President Bola Tinubu to bring about long-term prosperity and peace in the nation, Vice President Kashim Shettima has appealed for ongoing support for Tinubu’s administration.

As a nation, Nigerians, he said, must stand united and ready to sacrifice for one another.
The country’s number two citizen urged his fellow countrymen to put aside their differences and find ways to collaborate for the betterment of their country.

While worshippers gathered at the National Eid Ground on Airport Road in Abuja on Friday for the Eid al-Adha prayer, Shettima made the announcement.

The vice president has stated that the traditions of Prophet Ibrahim’s sacrifice, devotion, and principles form the foundation of the sombre celebration of Eid al-Adha. These, he said, were the qualities that would help Nigerians come together as one nation.

According to Shettima, Eid-el-Kabir is a time for serious contemplation, charity towards the poor, and strengthening bonds of brothers and sisterhood.

We may go quicker as individuals, but we might still tire out quickly; that’s the reality of life’, says the vice president. To get where we’re going, though, we need to rally as a family, a group, and a country.

When asked about his principal, Shettima emphasised the importance of Nigerians learning to support President Tinubu’s leadership and emphasised the need for unity of purpose and shared sacrifice in tackling issues like poverty and insecurity.

Everything that separates us pales in comparison to what unites us. “I want to express my gratitude to every Nigerian for their support and empathy. I also want to ask everyone to come together and put their money in one place so that we can tackle our shared problems, like poverty and insecurity,” he stated.
