Omoyele Sowore, the 2027 African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate, has chastised the Department of State Services (DSS) for looking down on him at the Peace Accord signing ceremony ahead of the 2027 general elections.
On Wednesday, Sowore took to his verified X handle to complain that it is common for Nigeria’s security agencies to mock someone when he is not flanked by a convoy of fancy automobiles and heavily armed escorts.
The human rights activist stated that Nigeria’s security agencies must eliminate their culture of intimidation, class discrimination, and arbitrary punishment.
“I arrived at the National Peace Committee’s Peace Accord signing event, only to be stopped at the gate by DSS operatives.
