The match against Brighton might be my final one for Liverpool – Salah

Liverpool’s forward, Mohamed Salah, has confessed that next week’s Premier League clash with Brighton could mark his last appearance for the team.

Salah made this revelation during a candid interview with ViaPlay Football, after their thrilling 3-3 draw against Leeds United.

The Egyptian player remained on the bench for the entire match.

This marks the third consecutive game that manager Arne Slot has excluded him from the starting lineup.

Salah, who is preparing to head to the Africa Cup of Nations next week, may depart Anfield during the January transfer window.

“I told my parents: come to the Brighton match. I’m not sure if I will play, but I plan to enjoy it,” he shared.

“I will be at Anfield to bid farewell to the fans before heading to the Africa Cup.”
