The Super Eagles’ roster for their encounter against Russia is 22 strong

Twenty players have been asked to participate in the international friendly versus Russia, and they are all now training with the Super Eagles in Moscow.

Monday saw the arrival of 18 players at the team’s training. On Tuesday, Bruno Onyemaechi and Olakunle Olusegun also showed there. Unfortunately, Onyemaechi was tardy and missed the first practice with the squad.

Several players withdrew or were injured before the friendly, so head coach Eric Chelle had to reorganise his team. Wednesday will likely see the Super Eagles continuing their training. On Friday at Moscow’s Luzhniki Stadium, they’ll face off against Valery Karpin’s squad.
