Traditional rulers from FCT support Tinubu and praise Wike’s initiatives

Traditional leaders in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have expressed their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027, noting that residents of satellite towns are experiencing tangible government benefits for the first time in many years.

The Gomo of Kuje, Alhaji Dr Haruna C. Jibrin; the Esu Sa’Rubochi, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Pada; and the Etsu of Kwali, Luka Ayedo Nizassan, shared this information while welcoming members of the FCT Renewed Hope Ambassadors in their palaces on Thursday.

During a speech in Rubochi, the Esu Sa’Rubochi commended the appointment of Hon. Adamu Abdullahi, affectionately known as Candido, as the Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors.

He remarked that the government’s presence is now unmistakably felt in the area, stating that “even the blind can feel the presence of government in Rubochi.”

He assured President Tinubu and FCT Minister Nyesom Wike of his unwavering support and committed to leveraging his influence to ensure the All Progressives Congress (APC) achieves a significant victory in upcoming elections.

In Kuje, the Gomo of Kuje praised the substantial enhancements in road infrastructure, pointing out that improved roads have drawn businesses and new residents to the town. He mentioned that better connectivity has transformed Kuje into a burgeoning economic hub.

He indicated that the attention President Tinubu has given to Kuje through the FCT Minister is clear proof of effective governance.

He promised to fully mobilize his community for the Area Council elections and the President’s re-election, while also praying for unity and success for the Renewed Hope Ambassadors.

At the palace of the Etsu of Kwali, the spokesperson for the monarch and former Area Council Chairman, Hon. Illiya Nizazo, expressed gratitude to the federal government for appointing the Coordinator and for acknowledging their son as a minister.

He also lauded the infrastructure projects in Kwali, stating that they have enhanced commercial activities in the region.

He assured President Tinubu that Kwali remains steadfastly loyal to the APC and will continue to support its initiatives.
