Ahead of the 2027 presidential election, Minister of Works Dave Umahi has charged Southeast residents to fulfilll their civic responsibilities on election day.
Umahi warned Southeast voters to do their civic duties rather than play football.
In a video circulating on social media, Umahi stated that voters who play football on election day may protest if bad leaders are elected.
He said, “Please don’t play football while voting. Then the next day, you start complaining. This is not acceptable.”
