Former Kaduna Central Senator Shehu Sani has criticised artist Davido’s appeal for US President Donald Trump to meddle in the upcoming Osun State governorship election.Sani expressed his views in a post on his X account shortly after Davido’s appeal.
He claimed people wanting to involve Trump in Nigeria’s political process were wasting their time, claiming that the US President has little concern for the integrity of African elections.
He stated, “Those who are attempting to drag Mr Trump into our elections are wasting their time.”
Davido made the appeal in a post on his X handle on Tuesday, citing concerns about escalating tension and the likelihood.
