Provost Vincent Onwe of the Abia State College of Education and Technical in Arochukwu has been suspended immediately by order of the Abia State Government.
As of right now, Dr. Abdulkarim Jibril is serving as acting provost at the behest of the state administration. A statement signed by Ikechuckwu Uwanna, the government official, provided this information.
The statement stated that Governor Alex Otti approved the suspension of Professor Onwe as part of continuing efforts to guarantee accountability, transparency, and the smooth management of the school.
In the absence of further instructions, Dr. Abdulakarim Jibril is to take charge of the college’s day-to-day operations.
