The appointment of members to the Interim Management Board of the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, IBB, Golf Club has been approved by Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
Lere Olayinka, Wike’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, revealed the governor’s approval in a brief statement written on Saturday.
Barrister Yomi Oyelola will serve as secretary, and Dr. Peter Deshi will head the interim management board of the IBB Golf Club.
Lawan Aboki, Okey Nnaedozie, Fred Otobo, Julius Fadairo, Mrs. Ekanem Ekwueme, Arc. Arabi Bello, Otunba Gbengba Elegbeleye, and Arc. Nanwor Mamven are the other members of the Interim Management Board.
The members of the IBB Golf Club Interim Management Board have been appointed and are expected to start their duties immediately.
A statement from the FCT Minister congratulated the appointees and urged them to work diligently for the repositioning of the IBB Golf Club.
