Next season, Colwill will face different opponents in the UCL and the English Premier League

The Blues’ opponents in next season’s Premier League will face a completely different game, according to Chelsea defender Levi Colwill.

He claimed that next year’s Blues squad was prepared to take home the Premier League and Champions League trophy cases.

He issued the caution during Sunday’s 2025 FIFA Club World Cup final, in which he assisted the Blues to a victory over Paris Saint-Germain.

The five-time appearance maker from England’s national team helped Enzo Maresca’s Blues win the inaugural season of the redesigned tournament.

The west London club will be in the hunt for major championships in the 2025–26 season, according to Colwill, who spoke to the BBC. People thought I was insane when I declared our intention to win the tournament before it even started.

So, before the Premier League and the Champions League, I will state the same thing. […] Next season will tell. I believe we’re prepared.

Chelsea stunned the footballing world by winning the Club World Cup in the United States with a 3-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain, the defending European champions.
