Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, retail outlets and other filling stations in Abuja have yet to raise their petrol pump prices, nearly 24 hours after Dangote Refinery implemented a N100 hike.
Remember that on Friday, the refinery, which produces 650,000 barrels per day, raised its pump price to N1,175 per litre.
Dangote Refinery increases usually result in a nationwide retail price change.
Saturday morning revealed that the pump pricing at NNPCL filling stations remained steady at N1,261 per litre.
Similarly, AA Rano, Ranoil, NIPCO, and other filling stations in Abuja and the surrounding areas cost between N1,230 and N1,330 per litre.
However, Optima, a filling station near the EFCC headquarters in Abuja, raised their petrol prices by N50 to N1270 per litre, up from N1220.
As of the time of writing, Dangote Refinery-backed MRS filling stations in areas of Abuja had not distributed fuel since Friday.
