After a protracted custody battle with Imade Adeleke’s mother, Sophia Momodu, Afrobeas singer Davido reunited with his first daughter, Imade, and some Nigerians took to social media to express their thoughts.
As previously reported by Naijatrial, the musician took to Instagram on Wednesday to share touching photographs and videos from the reunion with his followers. Following a custody struggle, Davido is able to reconcile with his daughter Imade.
The reunion between Davido and his daughter was the “Best day of my life,” according to the post he made on his X. He joined in the joy as Imade danced joyfully and he posed with peace signals for the camera.
As a result of this new information, many people took to the comment section to express their varied feelings on Sophia and her decision to let Davido see their daughter again. While some followers praised Davido, others praised her for moving on.
In case you forgot, Davido and Sophia’s custody battle began in 2024. After Davido paid off his debts, he claimed that Sophia had cut off his access to Imade.
Against the request, Sophia voiced her worries about Davido’s lifestyle and their son Ifeanyi’s untimely death in 2022.
