Jones Bogonko Onchonga, a married father of two, has been exposed in Kenya for reportedly impersonating as a Catholic priest.
Onchonga was believed to have been holding religious services in many parishes around Turkana County.
According to Kenyan tabloid Tuko, Onchonga obtained admission to the Catholic Diocese of Lodwar by allegedly submitting falsified church documents to back up his claim to be an ordained priest.
He was believed to have celebrated Mass and participated in other religious activities at several Catholic churches, including St Augustine Cathedral in Kalokol, St Thomas Chapel, and St Mary’s Lodaraja.
