The Adamawa State Labour Party has suspended four members for alleged violations of the party constitution and insubordination.
The party accused the affected members, Kamalludeen Jibrilla Aliyu, Andrew Adamu, Suleiman Abdulkareem, and Tufanus Daniel, of participating in an unconstitutional plot earlier this month to remove the party chairman, Jonah Theman Kalpenge, and then ignoring a disciplinary committee formed to address the breach.
The four were suspended after the State Working Committee accepted it based on a report from the party’s Disciplinary Committee.
